Privacy policy

At lands.sh we build and publish websites for local businesses. This policy explains what data we process, why, for how long and what rights you have.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Fersoft Technologies, LLC, a limited liability company organized in Delaware (file number 10321376), with its address at 1111B S Governors Ave STE 39885, Dover, DE 19904, United States. You can write to us at hola@lands.sh with any question about your data.
What data we process and why
- Businesses we offer a website to: public data from their Google Maps listing (name, category, address, phone number, opening hours, rating and public reviews), obtained through the Google Places API, and the contact details the business itself gives us. We use them to prepare a sample website and offer it to the business. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in offering our service to businesses. If no one on the team is working with a business, we delete its Google data within 30 days at most. If you don't want us to contact you, write to us and we won't do it again.
- Customers: the content of their website, their email address and the billing details needed for the subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store card details. The legal basis is the contract. We keep billing data for as long as the law requires.
- Team (sellers and administrators): name, email address, phone number, payout details, sales activity and commissions. The legal basis is the working relationship with them.
- Contact form: name, how to reach you and your message, to answer your request. We delete them once they are no longer needed.
- Visits to customers' websites: we count visits per day to show them to the website's owner. We don't use cookies or store visitors' IP addresses.
- Security: to stop abuse (for example, repeated sign-in attempts), we keep a hashed form of the IP address together with a counter for minutes or hours. Our providers generate technical security logs.
Who we share data with
- Cloudflare: hosts the website, the database and the files, sends the emails and runs the AI models (Workers AI) that write the websites' text from the business's public data.
- Google: provides the Google Maps data (Places API).
- Stripe: processes payments and issues invoices.
Some providers are located in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses. We don't sell data to anyone.
Cookies
The lands.sh website and our customers' websites don't use cookies. The team's dashboard uses a single technical cookie to keep you signed in.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to or restrict its processing, by writing to hola@lands.sh. If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll publish the new version here with its date.
